FMD virus strain Aphtae epizooticae type O, fam. Picornaviridae, genus Aphtovirus, deposited in the collection of strains of microorganisms of the national center for the collection of strains of pathogenic microorganisms at the State Institution of the Institute for Biological Safety Problems of the Tajik Academy of agricultural scientes under the registration number FMD virus strain O № 1/Tajikistan/2016 for the manufacture of biological products for the diagnosis of type O foot and mouth disease. It is obtained during sequential passage in cell cultures of homologous and heterologous origin, has high biological activity in its native form and maintains antigenic activity after inactivation.
