PROASYS: Agrocomplex Integration Concept Based on Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) to Realize The Zero Waste Movement

Agriculture is an attempt to utilize biological resources to meet human needs. However, these activities cause environmental pollution. PROASYS is an integrated cultivation concept system using Recirculating Aquaculture Systems to achieve zero waste. The process starts with water from catfish farming ponds which is channeled to silkworm cultivation. The rest of the manure and catfish are used as a living medium and feed for silkworms.
